Whole genome analyzed

Whole genome analysis of various laver species in the Ariake Sea was conducted in the “Project for the Advancement of Local Agricultural and Aquatic Bioproduction and Utilization Technology, etc.” at Saga University. This is the first time in the world that various cultivated varieties of laver have been compared at the whole genome level. The research results were published in the U.S. scientific journal “PLOS ONE” on June 10 (Japan time).
