Experiment on a mud battery conducted

A demonstration test of power generation using the “mud battery”, a research project by Dr. Masato Tominaga, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Saga University, was conducted in early August 2021, following last year. This year’s demonstration test was introduced in a news program on Saga TV. An interview with Dr. Tominaga was also featured in the program. The “mud battery” is expected to be a stand-alone power source for field sensors with a view to smart agriculture in the future.
