University Holds 2012 Fall Commencement Ceremony

The Saga University Fall Commencement Ceremony was held on Friday, September 21st at the Faculty of Science and Engineering Building. In all, 45 degrees were conferred, including 17 bachelor’s, 10 master’s, and 18 doctoral degrees.

Of the 45 graduating seniors, 21 were international students from eight countries, including China, Indonesia, and Nepal.

Saga University President Dr. Takao Hotokebuchi offered words of encouragement to the students and said, “I hope that all of you will take pride in and cherish what you've learned at Saga University. I also hope that you will develop and utilize your knowledge and skills for the world, and for your local communities.” Following the president's message, Ms.Do from Korea, awarded a doctorate by the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, offered words of appreciation on behalf of all the recipients.
