Joint Summer Camp 2013 by Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Saga University

For 8 days from Tuesday July 9 to Tuesday July 16, Saga University held the Summer Camp 2013 with the 10 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The program is an interactive one with the Chinese University of Hong Kong. This February, 8 Saga University students have been to the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and had an international exchange through lectures and observation there.

This time, Saga University students who went there this February welcomed the 10 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The program was carried out together with Saga Prefecture; to make them find attraction of Saga through real experiences and exchanges. They visited the places of the special products of Saga: mandarin orange and sake, distributed in Hong Kong, and a spot of the technical succession of Arita ware which is traditional culture of Saga: Arita College of Ceramics.

The last day, they made a courtesy call to the Saga prefectural government, and gave a presentation about what they learned this time.

At the completion ceremony, Mr. Akira Nakajima, Director of the Center for Promotion of International Exchange, handed a certificate to all the students who participated.

10 Saga University students in this program, had a good experience of promoting furthermore friendship and mutual understanding through the exchange with the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
