University-Government-Industry International Exchange Seminar

"The 2013 University-Government-Industry international exchange seminar" was held on July 24 at Saga University, and about 16 companies and 150 foreign students in Saga participated.

This seminar consisted of two sections. In the general seminar of the first section, Dr. Takao Hotokebuchi, President of Saga University, and Mr. Yasuo Yamaguchi, Chief of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries & Commerce Head Office gave opening speeches. Then the case example was announced; the university-government-industry international exchange, the model case of the utilization of global human resources, the internship experience and the activity of the foreign students who had been studying and found a job in Japan.

The second section, foreign students meeted companies in Saga and talked about the individual consultation. In the consultation corners, 12 companies set up their booth, and the students collected company information and deepened understanding about Japanese companies.

Besides, there were the corners to introduce the mother countries by the foreign students from Chinese, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. They displayed the cultural decorations and clothes, and talked about their mother countries.
