Saga University Scholarship Granted to 10 International Students

On November 2nd, the Saga University Scholarship was granted to 10 international students. This scholarship is designated for privately funded international students who are not granted any other scholarships. Given with a view to improving their study environment and to enable them to study harder, the monthly scholarship provides 20,000 yen financial assistance for 10 months.

President Takao Hotokebuchi encouraged the scholarship recipients by saying, “Your efforts led to the scholarship award. I hope you will continue to devote yourself to your studies.”

Mr. Lee Yang from China, a 2nd year Master’s Course student at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, offered words of appreciation on behalf of all the recipients. He said the scholarship will be a great encouragement to the recipients economically and emotionally. Yang added that he wants to make further efforts in his studies.
