The Department of Medicine aims at educating and training physicians who, in their creative practice of medicine, will be capable of grasping problems they encounter from a bioethical and sociocultural point of view as well as from a science-based medical point of view. The Department of Nursing aims at educating and training nursing professionals with a high regard for nursing ethics, capable of grasping health-related problems in a holistic manner and of solving such problems with expertise and flexibility.
