Diamond as a novel semiconductor

Dr. Makoto Kasai, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Saga University, presented his research on diamond semiconductors, which can be called the ultimate semiconductor. The research results show that diamond semiconductor devices, the next generation of power semiconductors based on a new operating principle, can provide the world’s highest output voltage and power.
