Lecture by Dr. Stephan Holger, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf

On October 19, 2022, Dr. Stephan Holger from the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf(HZDR) gave a lecture at the Department of Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Saga University.
Dr. Stephan developed and characterized novel radiotracer and solvent extraction reagents for multifunctional imaging and therapy of cancer based on supramolecular chemistry, dendrimer chemistry, coordination chemistry and thermodynamics of liquid-liquid two-phase systems.
The lecture was realized at Saga University as part of the JSPS Overseas Short-term Invitation Program (host: Prof. Keisuke Ohto), and Prof. Takashi Hayashita of Sophia University (previously at Saga University) was an invited participant. The lecture was attended by 41 people, including faculty and students from the Department of Chemistry Applied Chemistry, students from the Department of Physics, and members of the West Kyushu Chemical Engineering Roundtable, who listened attentively to these cutting-edge topics.
