Saga University cafeteria - providing delicious, balanced meals

There are two student cafeterias on the Saga University campus, one on Honjo campus and one on　Nabeshima campus, where the Faculty of Medicine is located, operated by Saga Univ. Co-op. The seasonings are almost identical throughout the country, but universities in Kyushu use soy sauce made in Saga to suit Kyushu’s tastes. Impressions of flavor may vary slightly depending on the region and producer.

Kasasagi cafeteria located on the west side of the Honjo campus has original menus, such as “Kasasagi curry” and “hashed pork.” “If we get enough requests from students, we’ll make those dishes,” a culinary staff member told me from behind the counter.
