Saga University Internship Student Alexandre CRÔNE, a double-degree student from France (Université de Technologie de Compiègne) and Canada (Ecole de Technologie Supérieure de Montréal), has received the Best Presentation Award at the International Conference on Renewable and Clean Energy 2026 (ICRCE-2026), held in Osaka, Japan, in March 2026.
ICRCE-2026 is an international conference that brings together researchers, engineers, industrialists, scholars, and other professionals in the field of renewable and clean energy. This research analyzes the feasibility of hosting two wind turbines on a single floating platform (a spar). This novel concept aims to increase energy production while reducing the cost of floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs), and has strong potential to contribute to the advancement of renewable energy technologies.
