PresentationTitleFeasibility Assessment of Twin 15MW Wind Turbines on a Single Spar Platform
AuthorsAlexandre Crone, Sharath Srinivasamurthy, Mostafa Rushdi, Shigeo Yoshida

This research analyzes the feasibility of hosting two wind turbines on a single floating platform (a spar). This novel concept aims to increase energy production while reducing the cost of floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs), and has strong potential to contribute to the advancement of renewable energy technologies. The study attracted significant attention from conference participants.

Alexandre CRÔNE presented his research at this conference for the first time. His work was supervised by Asst. Prof. Sharath Srinivasamurthy, and Prof. Shigeo Yoshida. The presentation demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex research in an international context.

This award recognizes not only his research efforts and commitment, but also the originality, practical relevance, data accuracy, and clarity of his presentation, all of which were highly evaluated. Saga University remains committed to fostering future researchers who can succeed on the global stage and to advancing cutting-edge research in the field of renewable energy.
