School of Cosmetic Science

The School of Cosmetic Science is the first educational and research program at a national university in Japan dedicated to scientifically exploring how chemical substances contained in cosmetics and cosmetic-related products interact with the human body.
By integrating multiple academic disciplines, including chemistry, biology, dermatology, and engineering, the program provides students with the specialized knowledge and technical skills necessary for cosmetic development. In addition, through interdisciplinary studies covering areas such as cosmetic culture, regulations, and marketing, the School aims to cultivate professionals capable of contributing to a wide range of fields centered on the cosmetics industry.
